Nov. 3 deadline for applications to RCMP Youth Academy

If you are of good character and have an interest in law enforcement, are in Grade 10 to Grade 12 and live in the central part of Alberta, you could be eligible to take pare in the RCMP Youth Academy.

 

This is a five credit work experience program that will be held March 23 to 29, 2018 at Bellerose High School in St. Albert.

The Academy is further looking for youth with:

  • A desire to work in a group setting
  • A desire to try scenario work and attend classroom presentations
  • A desire to learn marching techniques
  • A desire to learn arresting and searching skills
  • A desire to experience what training in the RCMP might be like
