Wood Buffalo RCMP: Seek assistance locating missing woman

Betty Ann Deltess missing

Betty Ann was last seen on April 11 at a residence in Janvier, Alta.

Update: On April 19, the Wood Buffalo RCMP received a request to assist to locate Betty Ann Deltess, who was last seen at a residence in Janvier on April 11. 

The Wood Buffalo RCMP have continued extensive efforts in the search for Betty Ann, including searching with members of the Fort McMurray Search and Rescue Society.

Wood Buffalo RCMP have reached out to other police departments for their support to search locations within their districts as well. Further tips have been actioned and exhausted, without any success. 

Betty Ann is known to travel to and from Fort McMurray and Edmonton. It is unknown as to what she may be wearing as she wasn’t seen leaving the residence. Betty Ann Deltess is not in trouble with the police. Her family and the Wood Buffalo RCMP are concerned for Betty Ann's well being, and would like to locate her as soon as possible.

On April 19, the Wood Buffalo RCMP received a report from a concerned family member that Betty Ann Deltess had not returned home. It was reported that Betty Ann was last seen on April 11 at a residence in Janvier, Alta. 

Betty Ann is known to travel to and from Fort McMurray, Alta. It is unknown as to what she may be wearing as she wasn’t seen leaving the residence. Her family and the Wood Buffalo RCMP are concerned for Betty Ann's well being and would like to locate her as soon as possible.

Betty Ann Deltess is described as:

  • An Indigenous female
  • 46 years old
  • Height: 5'5"
  • Weight: 150 lbs
  • Brown eyes
  • Short Brown hair
