National Indigenous Peoples Day in Edmonton

Windspeaker photographer Brad Crowfoot was out and about in Edmonton on National Indigenous Peoples Day.

CKUA celebrated with the Logan Alexis Singers, Jay Gilday, and Nêhiyawak. Victoria Park was the host to the Edmonton Indigenous Peoples Festival and had a mini powwow and performances.  The Works Art and Design Festival also began at The Legislature Grounds and will continue until July 3. The Day ended off with Native Talent's IndigiSoulstace Indigenous Fashion Show and DJ Showcase. Fashion designers are Brave Woman Designs. Tawnto and Luxx. DJ's are DJ Rebellion, DJ Hooligan and DJ Roach.
