Workshops will be held through until July 13.

The Métis Nation of Alberta will be holding workshops on climate change throughout the province beginning April 19 in Edmonton.

These workshops will gather feedback and inform policy and program development, and ensure that Métis interests and concerns are heard and addressed.

The workshops will cover a number of topics including alternative energy sources; job training and opportunities; and how to benefit from available programs.

The science and data of climate change will also be discussed and the truths and myths of climate changed will be examined.

Workshops will run through to July 13, with the last one scheduled for Grande Prairie.
