The Assembly of First Nation released an information bulletin Dec. 20 describing work achieved at the AFN Special Chiefs Assembly held Dec. 5 to 7 in Ottawa.
Almost 1,500 chiefs, Elders, youth and other delegates gathered for the “Our Languages, Our Land, our Future” assembly to discuss priorities and set direction for the coming year.
Issues and challenges were identified, along with areas where there is momentum and progress, reads the statement. The Bulletin provides an overview of key areas of discussion.
