Wage: $19.50/hour

Job Description:

This position will challenge your leadership values, commitment to service excellence, accountability for daily operational processes and acute attention for detail. You will be responsible for creating a positive and energetic work environment and highly value the importance of creating a strong relationship with the Owner/Operators. This position reports directly to Mike Francinelli, Owner.


  • Direct, coordinate and participates in the preparation of all items on the menu.  Must be able to train new employees on all aspects of the daily food preparation, keeping work areas clean, making pizzas, running the over and cutting and packaging the foods according to the store specifications. 
  • Responsible for food rotation to ensure production presentation and fresh food is always presented to valued customers.
  • Responsible for the collection of money from dine-in, dine-out or catering clients; will also be responsible for counting all monies received from delivery drivers.
  • Coordination of workers activities, scheduling all appropriate staff for each shift, hiring new staff when required and ensuring staff personnel files are complete and up to date.
  • Cost control through inventory and monitoring staff to ensure limited waste of raw product.
  • Performance of daily banking, opening and closing procedures – Must be able to reconcile the cash till and perform daily banking procedures and run management reports.
  • Ordering store supplies and foodstuffs required to operate the business while meeting food cost goals.
  • Assuring all Pizzaiolo promotional materials are visible to customers at all times, including but not limited too signage, lights in delivery vehicles are operational and illuminated always.
  • Managing instore deliveries are received and accounted for in a prompt and efficient manner. 
  • Working closely with the owner/operator of the store and other managers to promote a team environment enabling the team to provide outstanding customer service and an excellent product and overall experience for each customer.
  • Ensuring other staff members are operating at sufficient standard, ensuring that staff carries out their prescribed duties effectively and efficiently and in a hygienic manner. 
  • Ensuring that staff has education and or additional training once any deficiency has been identified. 
  • Must be able to supervise 5-10 staff at any given time.
  • Ensuring proper handling of cash by any employee involved in this process
  • Managing and overall supervision for the restaurant and providing direction, coordination and evaluation of other staff members including training employees, planning, assigning and directing work tasks and appraising performance reviews. 
  • Addressing complaints from customers and staff and resolving problems.


Education/Experience - A combination of relevant education and experience in a relevant type of work is appropriate. A college or university diploma in restaurant management and 1 year of relevant hands on working experience in a similar working environment or 2-3 years of relevant working experience in a relevant working environment.

Language - Must be able to communication very well in English, reading, writing, speaking and listening

Mathematical Skills – Must be able to accurately perform daily till reconciliation tasks and attend to banking challenges

Physical Demands/Work Environment – fast passed working environment, can be very hot at times due to the ovens. There may also be some heavy lifting due to deliveries that need to be put away once delivered at the restaurant.
