Housing Administrator


Northland School Division No. 61 is looking for an advocate for Indigenous Education and a supporter of FNMI language and culture.  The division is seeking to fill the position of Housing Administrator, operating out of the Divisional Office, located in Peace River, Alberta. 


The successful candidate, in collaboration with the school administrators and the Housing Construction Project Manager, manages the tenant experience of all divisional housing.  Duties will include ensuring repairs are made to housing units, aiding to develop the housing budget, participating in housing procedure review and authorizing invoices for housing expenditures.


The successful candidate will also ensure check ins and outs are completed in a timely manner and that housing leases are current for all residence, as well as conducting accommodation inspection reports.


Qualifications include:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Professional, Excel and Word as well as working knowledge of Microsoft Access.
  • Working knowledge of Government of Alberta Residential Tenancies Act as well as of tendering process in a public service agency setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.


The salary for this position is based on qualifications and experience.   A comprehensive benefit package is provided.
